AMTD IDEA Group to Change ADS-to-Share Ratio on NYSE
AMTD IDEA Group announced a change to its American depositary share ratio. The company trades on both the NYSE and Singapore Exchange.
AMTD IDEA Group, the financial services firm listed on both the New York Stock Exchange and the Singapore Exchange, announced plans to adjust the ratio of its American depositary shares relative to its Class A ordinary shares, the company said Tuesday from its offices in Paris, New York, and Singapore.
The ADS ratio change affects how many underlying ordinary shares each depositary receipt represents. Such adjustments are a common corporate mechanism companies use to influence share price ranges, improve liquidity, or better align their US-listed instruments with locally traded equity.

AMTD IDEA trades under the ticker AMTD on the NYSE and under the symbol HKB on the SGX. The dual listing gives the company access to both North American and Asian investor bases, making the depositary structure a central component of how international shareholders hold exposure to the firm.
The company did not disclose the specific new ratio in the initial announcement. Investors holding ADSs through brokerage accounts may see adjustments to their share counts and per-share prices, though the overall economic value of their positions should remain unchanged at the time of conversion.
